Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy that promotes health and wellbeing by providing a space and time for the client to relax and reduce their stress levels. The reduction of stress is key to achieving optimum health and building resilience to be able to take on life's challenges. This touch therapy is based on the theory that the practitioner can map the different organs of the body onto the feet, hands, face or ears. 

Whatever your take on reflexology, there can be no doubt that this is a great way to relax  and help you cope with your busy life.

Reflexology is a very individual treatment - no two sessions are exactly the same, as the practitioner tailors your treatment to you as an individual. It is also worth mentioning that although you may receive feedback, reflexologists cannot cure, diagnose or prescribe!

After reflexology clients often report feeling more relaxed, and taking that feeling of calm with them throughout their day. Many often say that the quality of their sleep improves following their session, but it is impossible to say how it will help you until you try it!

Reflexology for pain

Refexology can be used safely alongside standard healthcare to promote greater health and wellbeing in all kinds of conditions. However I have always been particularly interested in helping those with chronic pain conditions. Many of my clients suffer with back pain, migraines, or chronic pain or autoimmune conditions such as fibromyalgia, and have found reflexology does help them cope better with their condition.
