The Andrea Porritt Academy of Reflexology offers the OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Applied Reflexology for Integrative Medicine.A new exciting and comprehensive Level 5 training course worth 120 credits and providing you with the skills and knowledge you need to open or enhance your own business. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned complementary therapist, this is the perfect place for you to further your knowledge and skills.

Foot Reflexology

The course has 8 units, all of which are written specifically by and for reflexologists. These include:

  • Principles and Safe Practice for Clinical Practitioner Reflexology

  • Anatomy, Physiology and Psychology in Illness and Health

  • Clinical Reflexology and Reflected Anatomy

  • Developmental Reflexology, Pathology and Integrated Medicine

  • Stress Management for Body and Mind

  • Life Stages of Human Development

  • Evidence Based Practice for Reflexology

  • Business Fundamentals for Reflexology Practice

This regulated course qualifies you for full membership of the Association of Reflexologists, and also covers the use of reflexology in the following areas:

  • Fertility

  • Maternity

  • Palliative care

  • Stress Management

  • Hand reflexology

The Duopody reflexology method, which works on both feet simultaneously, is taught to our students, as well as the Original Ingham reflexology method, which has traditionally been used by UK reflexologists.

Costs

The course fee for the Level 5 Diploma in Applied Reflexology for Integrative Medicine is £3250, To secure your place on the course you will be asked for a deposit of £550, and the remaining £2700 can be paid by interest free installments. Please note that you are liable for full payment once you are enrolled on your training, whether you complete your course or not, and that certificates on successful course completion will be withheld until any outstanding fees are paid in full.

Additional Costs

In addition to the course fee, there are a number of fees payable on or before day one of the course. These are currently:

Centralia Approved Centre Fee £250

OTHM Qualification / Certification fees £250

Association of Reflexologists Student Membership and Insurance £39

Students will also need a reclining chair such as a LaFuma, or massage couch, wipes and foot cream in order to carry out treatments.
